Abstract:The regulations and standards on nutrition labeling selected from Codex, EU, USA, Japan and Chinese Mainland as reference were compared with each other, in the aspect of their contents and forms. Differences and similarities were illustrated which could be important background information for the future legislative control of food nutrition labeling in China as well as for the promotion of compatibility with international practice.
