Abstract:Analysis on the informations about 1409 kinds of health foods aproved by Ministry of Health from June 1996 to May 1998 indicated that the function of the most native health foods are immunity regulation, antifatigue and blood fat regulation, while that of imported health foods are nutrients supplements. Most of the products are for people of abnormal physiology. The form of most health foods non-traditional. The composition of raw materials of native productions are differ obviously from imported ones. The sources of native health foods are centralized.
