Abstract:In order to keep abreast of the food hygienic condition of school mess halls in Jinan, 70 mess halls (university 30, middle school 30, training school 10) were randomly selected for investigation. The results showed that all of them were managed by contractors, including subunits of the schools or universities, restaurants and individuals. The food hygienic condition of the mess halls contracted by units were better than those by individuals. Suggestions on food hygienic management of mess halls and surveillance were provided based on the results of the investigation.
