The monitoring history, the choice of monitoring sites, food categories, contaminants categories, sampling principle, data sharing and use of data of food contaminant monitoring system in international organization and some counties were introduced and compared between developed countries and China in order to find the similarities and differences and put forward the scientific and sound advice.
