The shortcomings existed in food safety supervision and management system in China,including immature of the model of subsection management of food supervision,authorization more than administration being emphasized,imperfect of regulations and laws of food safety,lag of national standard and lack of credit system were analyzed through melamine events from Sanlu milk powder,and the countermeasures were put forward.
