shops at Ningbo city,Zhejiang province China were investigated and their 26 samples (drinks made by themselves) were examined.The results showed that the overall sanitary level of the drink\|making shops were poor and 18 products(69%)did not meet the national hygiene standard.It suggested that the health authorities should issue strict hygiene regulations of shops making and selling drinks,the inspectors should enhance hygiene instruction and inspection to the shops,the workers working in the shops should be trained in sanitary requirements,sterilization practice and personal hygiene.
