The background of the founding, working mechanism and contents of Rap id Alert System on Food and Feedstuff(RASFF)of EU were introduced. The alerts sent out by RASFF in 2004 and the information of food export from China were ana lyzed, and the questions of important concern for Chinese food exporters were ra ised.
