In order to understand the food safety situation of the workers of construction sites in Zhengzhou, the hygienic facilities and management situations of 58 restaurants of construction sites in Zhengzhou were surveyed from October to November, 2004. The results showed that sanitary problems were ubiquitously existed 79.31% of the food processing places were exposed to dusty out door. Processing operation rooms which did not have necessary sanitary conditions were up to 87.93%. The food processing sites which lacked of defence of flies and dustproof facilities reached 86.12%. To these food safety problems we put forward a series of corrective measures, which will improve the sanitary state of the restaurants of construction sites of the city and better their management.
