Objective To introduce and analyze the status of food hygiene inspection and management in China.Methods The problems of food hygiene in China were analyzed. The 10 important strategies in terms of food inspection and management were introduced.Results The tasks of the future work were put forward including risk assessment, risk management and risk communication.Conclusion China could have great achievement in fields of food hygiene inspection and management, and the further improvements should be enhanced.
