Dr. Yoshiko Yamada has long-term working experience in food safety risk assessment and has high academic attainments. She initiated and organized the national monitoring and control of chemical pollutants and harmful microorganisms in Japan, submitted the data to Codex/JECFA, and published scientific monographs. Dr. Yoshiko Yamada has experience working in international organizations related to food safety. She is a member of Assessment of Chronic Exposure to Acute Reference Dose (ARfD) and Pesticide Residues in Foods by the Ministry of Health、Labor and Welfare of Japan, Estimation of Short-term Intake by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan.
