The research on nutritional genetically modified(GM)food is becoming an increasing concern in global academia and food industry.Nutritional GM food will provide more nutritional,high bio-efficient and low allergic food to customers by means of improving nutritional value and making up the deficiencies of its traditional counterpart.In this paper,the development of plant-originated nutritional GM food was outlined and putting forward suggestions for developing GM food in China as well.
